Value = Art is Information
each Replica contains data and meaning related to its Topic. its Value is a composite of aesthetic and philosphical.
an economic value will depend on: a number of Replicas in existence (supply = fixed), difficulty in obtaining them (demand), notoriety of the Issuer, activities of the Owner Group (Players). that Value is likely to increase in time, with each sale of the available Replicas and beyond. paradoxically, the image itself can be easily multiplied by standard technology and distributed ad infinitum, in quasi-exact yet worthless, unauthenticated form (like an unsigned cheque) - only to increase value of the actual Issue (DCRs) - this, of course, for technical reasons, can only be done by the Issuer.
